Staple set brushes

Technical brushes made of tufts of filaments inserted on a plastic (PVC, Nylon, etc.), wooden, aluminium or brass support. Thanks to their low weight and great manufacturing flexibility, these brushes are ideal for many industrial applications (even in presence of water, solvents and acids).

Tufts arrangement (PT, PL)

Each tuft of these brushes is firmly fixed with a staple inside previously drilled holes in the support.
Tufts can be arranged in 3 main ways giving the brush different features:

Staggered pattern: Uniform and high density brush

Parallel pattern: low density brush, easy discharge of residues

Helical pattern: brush apt to move slags and residues aside

Tufts size

Tufts diameter D can vary and it’s strongly related to the support’s thickness T

D = from 2mm – 0.08” to 12mm – 0.47”
T = from 6mm – 0.23” to 24mm – 0.94”

Different diameters give the brush different characteristics:
Big tufts =brushes with thick filaments, suitable for heavy-duty jobs
Small tufts = High density brushes with thin filaments, suitable for light-duty jobs.

Types of staple set brushes

There are 3 main kind of staple set brushes for the way they are used (brush rotation and path and point of contact with the treated surface).
The 3 kinds are available in any support material (plastic, wood, aluminium, …) and eventually with tufts’ inclination.
